Alise has held an associate position at one of the largest IT product wholesalers in Eastern Europe, AS ELKO grupa (>1bn EUR revenue), served as the head of legal and compliance department at one of the leading asset management companies in the Baltics, INVL (Finasta) Asset Management, as well as the executive chairman of the oldest private pension fund in Latvia, INVL (Finasta) atklātais pensiju fonds. Alise also served as a senior associate at BDO Legal (Varul) and TGS Baltic, both of which are top-rated “Legal 500” and “Chambers and Partners” pan-Baltic law firms.
Arturs Miezis, Member of the Board, CRO
Arturs Miezis is a member of the management board at Amenda Markets AS IBS and chief risk officer. Arturs has over 10 years of professional experience in the leading Baltic financial market and asset management institutions, and he has been a licensed Nasdaq Baltic equity and fixed income broker at the sixth largest bank in Lithuania, Siauliu Bankas (Bankas Finasta), investment manager at INVL (Finasta) Asset Management with over EUR 250m in assets under management. Arturs also has been the CEO of the oldest private pension fund in Latvia, INVL (Finasta) atklātais pensiju fonds, and served as a portfolio manager at Norway's leading investment bank, DNB Markets’ Latvian unit.
Klavs Ozolins, Head of European business development
Klavs is a head of European business development at Amenda Markets AS IBS with responsibility of customer service and partners' support. Klavs has over 11 years of professional experience in foreign investment companies operating in European financial markets. He has served as a business development director for Latvian and Estonian markets at TMS brokers Europe - Maltese licenced Investment services company. Also Klavs was a director of Latvia branch at Admiral Markets AS subsidiary for more than 4 years where he also expanded regional business as Western and Northern Europe regional director deputy. Before that he introduced Latvian private investors to trading services via cross-border introducing broker agreements to most trustworthy and competitive foreign brokers.
Ivars Grunte, Chairman of the Supervisory Board / Attorney at Law
Ivars Grunte is the chairman of the supervisory board at Amenda Markets AS IBS. Ivars has over 35 years of experience as a practicing attorney at law, and he has been a partner and the head of M&A, banking, and finance practice group at Grunte & Cers as well as Loze, Grunte & Cers, which is one of the oldest law firm partnerships in Latvia. He currently serves as the managing partner and head of dispute resolution and arbitration practice group at TGS Baltic, which is a top-rated “Legal 500” and “Chambers and Partners” pan-Baltic law firm.
Viesturs Neimanis, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Viesturs Neimanis is the deputy chairman of the supervisory board at Amenda Markets AS IBS. Viesturs has over 23 years of experience in finance, and he served as an officer at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Latvia as well as the vice president, member of the management board, and chairman at the Latvian subsidiary of Sweden’s SEB, SEB Banka, which is the 4th largest bank in Latvia. Viesturs also held positions as CFO and board advisor at the largest milk processing company in Latvia, AS Rīgas Piena Kombināts. He currently also holds the CFO position at LX Grupa, a construction company operating in Latvia since 1988, and is a member of the management board at EA Partners, an investment firm focused on private equity transactions.
Sandris Straume, Member of the Supervisory Board
Sandris Straume is a member of the supervisory board at Amenda Markets AS IBS. Sandris has 20 years of experience in managerial positions in area of risk management, compliance, as well as in operational and strategic management positions in local and international financial institutions (including Nordea Bank AB, AS Swedbank, AS Parex Bank) and in business consulting area. He was a member of management board and the Chief Risk Officer at AS Expobank, the Compliance Director at AS GE Money Bank, a member of management board of AS GE Money Open Pension Fund and AS GE Money Asset Management. Currently Sandris holds the position of the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at AS PrivatBank.
Jelena Viluma, Chief Accountant
Jelena Viluma is a chief accountant at Amenda Markets AS IBS. Jelena has more than 10 years of accounting experience in banking and asset management sector. Jelena has been deputy head of accounting services department for 5th largest bank in Latvia, Rietumu Banka, which specializes in private and corporate banking. Besides she has served as head of accounting at AS IPS Rietumu Asset Management, an investment management unit of Rietumu Banka. Jelena also has held the same position at boutique investment management firm AS IPS Aquarium Investments, which manages investment funds registered in Latvia and Malta.
Edgars Veinbergs, Chief AML&Compliance Officer
Edgars Veinbergs is a chief AML&compliance officer at Amenda Markets AS IBS with over 15 years of professional experience in legal matters related to financial sector and consumer protection. Edgars has acquired professional experience in the field of AML&Compliance serving as a senior lawyer at SEB Bank (Latvia), which is one of the largest credit institution in Latvia. Before joining Amenda Markets AS IBS Edgars worked as an associate at Law Office FORT. Edgars has also held the position of the head of the legal unit at BIGBANK AS Latvijas filiāle, which is a branch of an Estonian credit institution specializing in consumer lending. Additionally Edgars has been head of the legal unit at Consumer Rights Protection Centre, which is a public authority under the supervision of the Ministry of Economics.
